虛擬實境風格設計 HTC Vive

這個科幻感設計的重點是將觀眾拉進一個虛擬實境的環境,讓觀眾身歷其境。人與一張背景的圖合成並不代表一個事件就能歷歷在目,重點是氣氛的營造;光與周遭發生事件的和諧造就一種氛圍。情境變化是我想傳達的。

這次挑戰的是將隨機的圖檔:人、背景與事件結合起來,並以臉書的規格分享。我必須先做好功課了解HTC VIVE在官網以及社群網站的品牌策略,並了解其他競爭者的優缺點。我著重在視覺層次、顏色、光線、3D效果、字體排印與布局。設計過程中我測試了不同的排版方式,問了許多人的意見,也解決了背景光線與顏色的影響。還有很多的可能性例如設計理念、強調主體與反差對比希望在將來陸續加強。

My first step was to make sure the original resolution of the Photoshop file was formatted for Facebook. Then I reviewed the HTC VIVE website and Facebook images in order to get familiar with the brand strategy, and referred to other competing VR image styles. I noticed that my task was not only to put the model in an image, but to make the audience experience the perception inside a 3D environment. I payed attention to the hierarchy, color, light, 3D effects, typography and composition in order to bring the audiences to the journey of the VR world. In the designing process, I experimented on different kinds of compositional flow and rhythm, and fixed the problems from the background light and color. Finally, I adjusted the finished image and tested the display on Facebook for both PC and Mobile screens.
